Open to musicians of all nationalities and countries
Instrumental Soloists (piano, strings, winds, brass, percussion)
Chamber Music Ensembles (duos to quintets)
Vocalists (opera, art song, musical theater)

Repertoire Requirements:

One piece/one movement from the standard repertoire from any period

One movement of a Sonata or Concerto will be accepted as one piece.
Other genres also may be accepted at the discretion of the jury and committee.

Categories and Performance Time Limits

Age category is determined by the date of the application deadline.

Aspiring Artists 5-6
up to 5 minutes
Young Artists I 7-9 up to 6 minutes
Young Artists II 10-12

up to 6 minutes

Junior Artists 13-15

up to 7 minutes

Senior Artists 16-18 up to 7 minutes
Professional Artists College and beyond
no age limit

up to 8 minutes


World Class Performance Opportunities
First, second and third prize winners will perform in a winners concert at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York City on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 1:00 PM.

First, Second, Third and Honorable Mention Prizes in each category will be awarded based on the applicant's video audition.
Multiple winners may be chosen in each category according to the recommendations of the jury.
Cash Awards and Live Performance Prizes
"Outstanding Performance" Prize(s) may be awarded to top, exceptional performers,may be awarded based on the judges’ recommendations at the Winners' Concert. Special Jury" Prize(s) may also be awarded.
Cash prizes will be awarded to all live performance prize winners. Multiple winners may be selected.

Certificates will be awarded to all winners.
Certificates of appreciation will be awarded to the teachers of all winners.

Written feedback will be offered to every single applicant based on the video audition.
The evaluation and feedback will be made by professional musicians and highly respected music professors and teachers.

Announcement of the Winners:
Winners will be notified individually via email by date TBD.
The official winners' list will be announced on our website TBD.

Performance/Photo Fees:
There is a performance fee for the Winners Concert at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall. Please see our rules and regulations for more info.

• Provide a link to YouTube or other video sharing sites of your performance on the application form. The setting must be on “unlisted.” Click here for information on the rules for submitting a video audition.
• Upload your bio (not to exceed 130 words). Click here for information on how to write an effective bio and to see sample bios.
• Upload a high quality photo (to be used for the program booklet and poster). Click here for information on the suggested specs of the photos and to see sample photos.
• Pay the non-refundable application fee via PayPal (Solo-$140, Chamber Music-$95 Per Performer).
